Localization
North-west Bali; 43 km from Gilimanuk
Access
Easy. The National Park can be reached by roads from Gilimanuk and Singaraja, or by using ferries from Ketapang, East Java.
Characteristic
190 km2, 158 square kilometres land and the remainder is sea. The center of the park is dominated by remnants of four volcanic mountains with Gunung Patas at 1,412 metres its highest elevation. Typical ecosystems: tropical rain forest, mixed monsoon forests, montane forests, grasslands, mountains lower than 4000m, mangroves, sea and sea coast, coral reefs and volcanic biotopes.
