Localization
Central Borneo, south of Sintang.
Access
Quite difficult. Pontianak-Sintang-Nanga Pinoh by four wheel drive, 9 hours (460 km); then proceed to Nanga Nuak by speedboat, 2.5 hours. The journey from Nanga Nuak to the Park can be covered within 2 hours by four wheel drive.
Characteristic
1811 km2; the park is named after the mountains of Bukit Baka (1,620 metres) and Bukit Raya (2,278 metres). Mountainious area forming a part of the Schwaner mountain range at the border of Central and West Kalimantan. Steep topography in parts of West Kalimantan and generally begin to ramp in the Central Kalimantan side. Many waterfalls. Typical ecosystems: tropical lowland rain forest, cloud forest, mountain biotopes, freshwater ecosystems.

Trekking - marked trails
Canoeing, rafting, mountains climbing - long ascent to Bukit Raya - to the top of the hill about 3-4 days.

Best time to visit VI-IX
The park has been affected by severe illegal logging since the end of the 20th century.
Thermal springs which are great to bath and relax.
There is no tourist infrastructure inside the park
The area has an important role in the hydrological function for both - West and Central Kalimantan
