Localization
Central Chile; 60 km east of Valparaíso, 160 km northwest of Santiago de Chile.
Access
Easy. Along the good road from Santiago or Valparaiso to Olmué (park entrance lies 1 km nrtheast of Olmué).
Characteristic
80 km2; Mountainous area located in the coastal mountain range of Cordillera de la Costa. The highest point of the park is La Campana summit (1850 m). Park is divided into three parts: Granizo (972 ha), Cajón Grande (1.588 ha) and Palmas de Ocoa (5.440 ha). Typical ecosystems: dry mediterranean sclerophyll forests, spiny thickets and mountainous biotopes. The main subject of preservation - one of the last palm forests of Jubaea chilensis (Chilean Wine Palm).

Beautiful and interesting trails for walking and trekking.
Rock climbing (easy to the summit to La Capmpana), horseback riding, mountain biking.
Note
The park has three sectors, each one with a different entrance
Famous attraction is the Cerro La Campana, which lends its name to the park. In 1834 Charles Darwin climbed this mountain, during The Voyage of the Beagle.
Many archeological evidences reveal ancient native presence in the zone.

Park is accessible all the year round, best time to visit is spring time.
